WARNING! This journal entry contains spoilers for the Invincible comics and possible spoilers for the upcoming season of the Amazon Prime series by the same name. If you don’t want to be spoiled for either, take my advice and don’t read anything below this opening paragraph. However, if you have read the comics and/or don’t care about spoilers, feel free to read on, but just remember that you were given fair warning. One thing that’s already been confirmed for Season 2 is the introduction of Mark’s archnemesis from the comics, the incomparable Angstrom Levy. Just how much of Angstrom’s story they’ll tell in Season 2 remains to be seen, but at the very least they should go into his origin and hopefully his first major fight with Invincible. Based on how Season 1 ended, I can see Angstrom using his dimensional hopping powers to bust the Mauler Twins out of jail and recruiting them to help with his master plan; to use their technology to copy the minds of several thousand versions

Previous: 40. Age of the Serpents (Part 1) It has been roughly six months since Kur’s defeat in Antarctica and the Saturdays’ world has been turned upside down. Cryptid related incidents around the globe are at an all-time high and to make matters worse, the Secret Scientist Community has called an emergency summit in New York City to discuss what’s to be done about Zak and his connection to Kur. Doc attends the Summit alone, and while he has strong support from the likes of Dr. Beeman and Dr. Grey, he also has strong opposition from Doctors Peter Lawhorn and Sally Green, the Secret Scientists’ Pathology and Probability Experts, who propose putting Zak in cryogenic stasis until a more permanent solution can be found. When the vote comes to a deadlock, Agent Epsilon arrives as an impartial third party and offers an alternate solution; turning Zak over to the Organization to be trained in a controlled environment. Elsewhere, Doyle and Zon investigate rumors that Argost is still alive

I finished book 2 of ATLA.

Oh good. Did you like it?

Absolutely.

But, tbh, I’m really don’t know whether I like book 1 or 2 more.

Most people say 2 is better because it has Toph. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t agree
